There’s something magical about Downtown Fort Worth. The mix of timeless architecture, bustling energy, and pockets of hidden charm make it the perfect backdrop for an engagement session. Maya and Cris wanted a shoot that captured not just their love but their personalities—playful, elegant, and down-to-earth. And oh, what a day it was!

We started our session near the iconic Bass Performance Hall. Maya’s radiant smile and Cris’s easy laughter were the perfect contrast to the grandiose angels that watch over Sundance Square. As they strolled hand-in-hand, I focused on blending candid shots with lightly posed moments. One of my favorite captures was Maya’s spontaneous laugh when Cris whispered something into her ear—whatever it was, it had her glowing.

Throughout the session, Maya and Cris trusted me to guide them, but they were also so natural in front of the camera. Maya later shared, “Linda was absolutely amazing! She made me feel super confident and comfortable in front of the camera. Words can’t describe how lucky I was to have found her on such short notice. She’s quick to respond and so helpful in brainstorming when you have no idea what you want!” 

Hearing those words from Maya was the cherry on top of an already incredible shoot.

What stood out most about this engagement session was their gratitude and how they embraced the process wholeheartedly. Maya went on to say, “Amazing and beautiful work she did on my engagement pictures. She told me maybe 1-2 weeks for my pictures, but I got them the very next day! 10/10.”

Fast-forward a few months, and I had the honor of capturing Maya and Cris’s wedding day at the stunning Lucky Spur Ranch Retreat. The serene countryside setting was the perfect contrast to their urban engagement shoot. Surrounded by family, friends, and the Texas sun, the couple said their vows with tears and laughter.
